A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Teresa brings years of experience in Music Ministry to Church in the Wildwood. She was born and raised on a dairy farm but always held the music of the church close to her heart. She began piano at age 8 and then transitioned to organ lessons at 15. Teresa bred world recognized Holstein dairy cattle during her 35 years as a dairy farmer and Holstein breeder. She has served in a United Church of Christ parish and two Lutheran parishes over the years. Teresa has completed all the Sacred Music course work at Lebanon Valley college in Annville, Pa. and holds the advanced certification in handbell conducting with the Handbell Musicians of America. She has attended many national conferences on sacred music, Christian drama and handbells over the years. Teresa has developed and expanded music ministries for the churches she served through choral and handbell choirs, praise teams, drama teams and youth ministry. Teresa is also trained in organ pedagogy and maintained a teaching studio in Pennsylvania. She loves empowering the people of Christ’s church to use their musical talents to worship God. Teresa lives in Cascade, Co. with her husband Scott and a kitty and has a wonderful son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren in the Reading, Pa. area.
