Wildwood Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry operates on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesday each month.
Next Food Pantry = May 11, 2021 @ 4:30 pm
For almost 11 years, the Wildwood Food Pantry has provided food assistance to Ute Pass neighbors, so they don't go hungry. Our dedicated team of volunteers follow best health practices to keep our pantry running safely and continuously through the pandemic. We are a "Client Choice" Food Pantry so our guests are able to select the items they need from a menu (as supplies are available/last). We welcome pantry guests as neighbors, helping each other through hard times, and we look forward to the day when pandemic conditions allow us to resume sharing a community meal on distribution nights.
For the protection of our guests and volunteers through the pandemic, we are operating as a curbside service. Best practice safety protocols are being followed. This curbside service is from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesday of each month. Please park in front of the church and stay inside your car. A volunteer will come to your car and take your order. We will then fill the order and load it into your vehicle for you.
There are increasing needs in our community during this trying time. You can help support this mission in the following ways:
Grocery gift cards for Walmart, Safeway and City Market
Food Donations. Click here to see our weekly newsletter with a list of most needed items. To arrange food donation drop offs, please call the church at 719-684-9427 or email via Pantry@WildwoodUCC.org. We also have a drop box at the post office in Green Mountain Falls just inside the door.
Financial donations through this website or check, paid to the order of "Church in the Wildwood." (Please write Food Pantry on church memo line if you wish your donation restricted to food pantry direct operations.)
Donation receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.
Please remember that some of the costs associated with the Wildwood Pantry are born by the Church in the Wildwood, such as; power, heat, and some staff time assisting with pantry functions. Any financial support of the Church’s general operating fund helps support the Pantry and other community support efforts by the church.
